UNITED POLICE OFFICERS SUPPORT PAC
The United Police Officers Support PAC, an initiative of the UPOS PAC, is a non-party political organization (not a charity) established and regulated under section 527 of the tax code. Our goal is to advocate for the election of more Candidates that support the efforts of our law enforcement officials and share the same agenda.
Welcome!
Welcome to the United Police Officers Support PAC, where our commitment is to support and advocate for law enforcement professionals by endorsing the election of candidates who align with our mission. Our goal is to enhance community safety and well-being through strategic partnerships, community engagement, and legislative advocacy. We actively work to elect leaders who prioritize providing police officers with the resources and support they need to perform their duties effectively and safely.
As dedicated community members invested in the safety and well-being of our neighborhoods, it's essential that we come together to ensure our local police departments have the necessary funding and resources to serve and protect effectively. By contacting our representatives and advocating for legislation that supports police department funding, we can help create safer neighborhoods, improve crime prevention, and build a more secure society for everyone.
CONTRIBUTIONS ARE NOT TAX DEDUCTIBLE
We must inform legislators and candidates about the various issues facing law enforcement.
Below is a list of key concerns that our elected officials need to address.
We need Elected Officials that will Advocate for:
Funding and Resources: Ensuring adequate funding for training, equipment, and personnel to support law enforcement operations.
Officer Safety and Wellness: Providing support for mental health services, stress management, and physical health programs for officers.
Training and Professional Development: Enhancing training in areas such as de-escalation techniques, crisis intervention, and cultural competency.
Legal Protections: Addressing concerns related to legal liabilities, qualified immunity, and protections for officers in the line of duty.
Support for Families of Law Enforcement: Providing resources and support for the families of officers, especially those impacted by the stresses of the job.
